Support groups

Having a sense of community and a support network are invaluable when facing challenging situations. Having access to a support group in your local area that understands the intricacies of HD can be a lifeline.

Huntingtons Queensland facilitates support group meetings throughout Queensland on a regular basis. These friendly meetings provide attendees with a safe space to share their story, and learn from others, while seeking support from our HD advisor team. Meetings are held at a variety of locations, and are welcome to everyone.

There are also a small number of support groups that are organised by volunteers, and we are grateful for their commitment to helping other local families impacted by HD.
